SWEP can analyse many different sample types for many things, including some tests developed for special purposes. These are two regularly requested tests, but if you have special requirements of your own please Contact Us.
Pat Coleby Soil test
This is the Standard Soil Balance Analysis plus Total Phosphorus, which Pat requires if you want her to assist you with the results and recommendations. Upon completion, a copy will be sent to you and another directly to Pat Coleby so you can call her and discuss the results.

The Truffle Soil tests for the growing of oak trees for black truffle production has taken years of research and development. Truffles Australis and SWEP Laboratories have worked together to offer this comprehensive service. SWEP Laboratories offer two options for Truffle Soil analysis;
- Truffle Site Suitability analysis (for customers who want to know if the land they have is suitable to begin farming black truffles)
- Complete Truffle Soil analysis (for customers who already have truffle inoculated oak trees established)
Truffle Site Suitability Analysis
If there is a choice of sites for proposed truffle production then a SWEP standard soil balance analysis with truffle options added (Truffle Site suitability) will help to determine the most suitable site/s.
This analysis may be used to prepare the area before planting.
NB. This test is only for assessing the suitability of areas where it is proposed to plant Truffle inoculated Oaks.
Price per test: AUD$352.00 (Australia - Inc GST)
The Truffle Site Suitability analysis includes the SWEP standard soil balance analysis plus Total Calcium, Total Magnesium, Particle size, along with Truffle and Pasture recommendations.
The SWEP Standard Soil Test comprises 23 laboratory tests and 11 calculations, presented in an easy to read four page report with full colour graphs and two sets of recommendations (soil structure (friability), and plant nutrition).
Results will then be sent to Larry Palmer of Palm-Ag Services (truffle specialist consultant) and Truffles Australis P/L for product interpretation. In turn they will forward the results of the analysis on to you, along with an extra page for product interpretation, and will provide you with the assistance and guidance in using this report for optimum truffle productivity.

Complete Truffle Soil Analysis
The Complete Truffle Soil analysis includes recommendations for truffle growing as well as advice on what to use in your area to achieve optimum results.
NB. This test is only for areas already planted with Truffle inoculated Oaks.
Price per test: AUD$715.00 (Australia - Inc GST)
The Complete Truffle report includes 43 laboratory tests (including Total N & Total P) and 17 calculations, presented in a 7 page report. The results are organised into three sections - one for each of the important Soil Balance components - Structure, Nutrients and Biology.

You can order soil tests for Pat Coleby in the same way as any of our other soil tests. To pay for your test online, you can use your Credit Card or a PayPal account for secure online payment by clicking the appropriate "Add to Cart" button below. But if you prefer not to use your credit card online, you can also either submit an email order by clicking the "Email Order" button or just send a sample with the payment enclosed. Customers within Australia have the option to enclose a cheque with their samples, include their credit card details on the appropriate Sample Information Form enclosed with their sample (see links below), or just send the samples and telephone their credit card details later.
Customers Outside Australia should either pay online or enclose the appropriate Sample Information form - containing their credit card details) with their sample.
Whether you choose to pay for your tests online or just send in an email order, at the completion of each process you will be forwarded to a page where you can access all the other information you require. You will also be sent a confirmation email with additional contact information should you have any further questions.
